Co-Chairs

The Daffodil Ball is organized by a Gala Committee of dedicated local leaders and prominent philanthropists led by Jennifer Traub, Jill Arias and Kaeli Gattens.

Jennifer Traub

Jennifer Traub

Jennifer Traub is a partner in the Securities Group at Cassels, is Co-Chair of the firm’s Mining Group and is dedicated to supporting her community, most recently having joined the board of the Sarah McLachlan School of Music. Jen moved to Vancouver in 2012 to open the Cassels Vancouver office. Jen has been Co-Chair of the Daffodil Ball for 12 years, having joined the committee one year prior.

Jill Arias

Jill Arias

Jill Arias is the Vice President of Marketing and Corporate Communications at First Majestic Silver Corp. Jill sits on the Board of Women in Mining B.C., has been an active volunteer with the Canadian Cancer Society for the past nine years and is proud to participate in her third year as Co-Chair of the 2025 Daffodil Ball Event.

Kaeli Gattens

Kaeli Gattens

Kaeil Gattens is the Vice President of Investor Relations & Communications & Yukon Metals, and sits on the Board of Women in Mining B.C. For over a decade, Kaeli has been an active volunteer with the Canadian Cancer Society and is proud to serve her third year on the Daffodil Ball Committee, and first year as a Co-Chair.

The volunteer committee generously donates their time and energy to help make the Daffodil Ball a huge success each year. The committee consists of the following members:

Kylie Dickson

Kylie Dickson

Kylie Dickson is a CPA, CA and finance professional.  She is a Director and Audit Committee Chair of Fortuna Silver Mines, Star Royalties and Hillcrest Energy Technologies.  Kylie is an active volunteer in her community, including provincial youth sports teams, Little League organizations and other youth organizations in North Vancouver. She is enjoying her second year on the Daffodil Ball Committee.

Lejla Karamesic

Lejla Karamesic

Lejla Karamesic has worked with non-profit agencies - BC Cancer Foundation and Family Services of the North Shore, and has a history of working in the Vancouver mining industry. Lejla is an active member in her community, and serves on the parent council at her son’s school. She has supported the Canadian Cancer Society for over 11 years and is honoured to join the Daffodil Ball 2025 committee.

Monika Randhawa

Monika Randhawa

Monika Randhawa works with the Canada Border Services Agency and has been active in various fundraising campaigns for the Canadian Cancer Society over the past 16 years. This is Monika’s second year on the Daffodil Ball Committee. She is proud to join the team and contribute to a cause that impacts countless lives.
